Mona Wetzel, age 53, of rural Slater, died Friday, March 1, 2019.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 6, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel, where visitation begins at 1:30. Burial will follow in Sunset Gardens Cemetery.

In addition to her husband, Danny; and her mother, Judy; she is survived by two daughters, Sammy Behrens of rural Slater and Chelsea Lopez (Ismael) of Marshall; three grandchildren: Alejandra, Gabriela, and Xavier; and one niece, Allie Sprague of Independence.

Mona was preceded in death by her father, Leon; and her sister, Leonda “Sissy” Sprague.
