Seven area residents have been charged with drug-related felonies after the execution of a search warrant at a residence in the 12100 block of Harvestor Avenue in New Cambria on February 28.
According to a probable-cause statement, authorities say they found digital scales; methamphetamine; multiple syringes; numerous other drug-related items; and several rifles and shotguns- inside the residence.
Outside the residence, 41-year-old Rodney Kiel, of Marceline, was arrested for alleged possession of methamphetamine.
Inside the residence were 55-year-old Tony Clark, 31-year-old Joseph Wehner, 33-year-old Sarah Duncan, 57-year-old Christina Thompson, 34-year-old Mary Arbuckle and 58-year-old Donny Arbuckle- all of New Cambria. Online court documents say each has been charged with a Class D Felony for Possession of a Controlled Substance and a drug-related misdemeanor. Kiel has been charged with a Class D Felony for Possession of a Controlled Substance. Bond for each subject has been set at $25,000 cash only.
Clark, Mary Arbuckle, Thompson, Duncan, Wehner, and Kiel were arraigned and entered not-guilty pleas on March 1. Each is due for another hearing on Tuesday, March 12. Donny Arbuckle’s initial hearing is pending at Chariton County Circuit Court.
