Alice V. Eckerle, 82, of Clifton City, died Tuesday, March 5, 2019.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, March 11, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Pilot Grove. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Clifton City.

A Rosary service will be held at 4 p.m. with visitation following until 7 p.m. on Sunday, March 10, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Pilot Grove. Memorials are suggested to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Heckart Funeral Home in Sedalia is in charge of arrangements.

Surviving are a daughter, Julie Giordanengo (Bill), of Roseville, CA; six sons, Keith Eckerle (Angel), Joe Eckerle, Gary Eckerle, all of Otterville, Roger Eckerle (Vicki), of Ionia, David Eckerle (Tammy), of Independence, and Allen Eckerle (Marla), of Hickory Creek, TX; her sister, Marjorie Leary, of Otterville; eleven grandchildren, Bryan, Brad, Angie, Erica, Tanya, Michael, Greg, Meagan, Brittany, Jessica and Samantha; fifteen great-grandchildren, Riley, Ryan, Lathon, Owen, Reed, Rianna, Ella, Achazia, Kira, Sarea, Liam, Micah, Caleb, Lionel and Madysyn.

In addition to her husband, Russell Eckerle; and parents, Charly F. and Nona J. (McMillin) Redden; she was preceded in death by a brother, Charles; and a sister, Ruth Ann.
