A section of an area highway is closed at this time due to water over the roadway in Lafayette County.
According to MoDOT’ Traveler Information Map, Missouri Highway 224, from Giblin to Myrick Roads west of Lexington, has been closed due to water over the roadway.
A post on the Lafayette County Emergency Management Agency’s Facebook page says the situation will not improve quickly and the roadway will be closed until the water recedes off the roadway.
