A 3-year-old Windsor girl, who reportedly was not in a safety device, was killed in a traffic accident in Johnson County on Sunday.
A report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol says the fatality occurred as an eastbound vehicle, driven by 35-year-old Nicholaus Failer, of Windsor, reportedly was pulling forward when the child fell from the vehicle. A trailer attached to the vehicle subsequently ran over the child who was pronounced deceased at the scene at 3:56 p.m. by Johnson County Coroner Clark Holdren.
The accident happen just after 3:30 p.m. in the 900 block of South East 900 Road.
