The Slater City Council discussed nuisance property letters and April Municipal Election tax issues during its meeting on Tuesday, March 19.
Mayor Dr. Stephen Allegri said with Spring right around the corner, residents should be aware of getting their properties cleaned up or nuisance violation letters will be sent out.
Allegri said nuisance violations will include junk cars or other unsightly issues on properties, as well as letting grass get too long on a property.
In other business, City Administrator Gene Griffith details a couple of tax issues up for renewal during the Municipal Election on April 2.
In other business, the council discussed the citywide garage sale set for Saturday, May 4, and Steve McQueen Day scheduled on Saturday, June 15.
