A Cooper County city will be participating in the Drug Enforcement Administration’s National Drug Take-Back Day on Saturday, April 27.
According to a post on the City of Pilot Grove’s Facebook page, from 10 a.m to noon, the police department will be taking back unwanted prescription drugs at City Hall, located at 213 College Street.
This provides an opportunity for residents to prevent pill abuse and theft by ridding their homes of unwanted prescription medications. This take back applies only to pills and patches, not to liquids or needles. The service is free and anonymous, no questions asked.
For more information, call Pilot Grove City Hall at (660) 834-3551.
