A Marshall resident has been charged with drug- and weapon-related felonies after a traffic stop on Monday, April 22.
According to authorities, they located a firearm that had been reported as stolen and two bags of methamphetamine- weighing a total of approximately 4.4 grams- in the vehicle being driven by Justin Alan Womack.
Online court documents say Womack has been charged with a Class D Felony for Possession of a Controlled Substance; a Class E Felony for Unlawful Use of a Weapon- Possession of a Weapon and a Controlled Substance; and a driving-related misdemeanor. Bond has been set at $10,000 cash or surety.
Womack’s initial hearing is pending at Saline County Circuit Court.
