A Sedalia resident has been charged with a felony for allegedly setting an apartment on fire with an incendiary device on November 12, 2018.
According to a probable-cause statement, the fire allegedly was started in the apartment in the 400 block of East 7th Street by using Vodka in the form of a Molotov cocktail. Witnesses reportedly gave an investigator enough information to develop a suspect.
Online court documents say a warrant has been issued and 34-year-old David Boggs Jr. has been charged with a Class B Felony for First-Degree Arson. Bond has been set at $25,000 cash or surety.
Boggs’ initial hearing is pending at Pettis County Circuit Court.
