Two Kansas City residents have been charged with drug-related felonies after a traffic stop in Cooper County on June 13.
According to a probable-cause statement, during a consented search of the vehicle, the trooper says behind the driver’s seat he found a box- which contained 2.2 pounds of methamphetamine; and a small baggie- which contained an unknown brown substance- inside the purse of one of the vehicle’s occupants. Both of the vehicle’s occupants were arrested.
Online court documents say Delisa Marie Ladd and Hector Vidales Cortez each has been charged with a Class A Felony for Trafficking Drugs in the Second Degree. Bond for each subject has been set at $25,000 cash only.
An initial hearing for each of the accused is pending at Cooper County Circuit Court.
