Marshall Municipal Services Director Bill Anderson asked the city council to approve a bid for striping College Street during its meeting Monday, June 17.
Anderson said the same latex paint that has been used in the past was used this past year.

Ward 2 Councilman Kirk Arends explained there is room in the budget for the city to pay for the striping Anderson suggests.

Anderson said the paint meets MoDOT standards and the reflectivity should last longer than the latex paint did.
The council approved the request to pay for the striping at $11,673.
