A 55-year-old Richmond woman suffered moderate injuries in a two-vehicle traffic crash in Clay County on Thursday.
A report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol says the crash occurred as Jeane Wymore- while attempting to merge onto another highway- reportedly lost control of her northbound vehicle, and her vehicle struck another northbound vehicle, driven by 52-year-old Allen Lee, of Parkville, in the driver’s side. Wymore’s vehicle then ran off the left side of the roadway and struck a cable barrier.
While Lee reportedly was not injured, Wymore was transported to Liberty Hospital for treatment.
The crash happened at 10:30 a.m. on Northbound I-35, north of Missouri Highway 291.
