A Warsaw woman drowned in a lake in Benton County on Friday.
According to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 33-year-old Rebecca Feese, reportedly attempted to wade across a low-water crossing and was swept downstream. Feese was pronounced deceased at 2:59 p.m. by a doctor at Bothwell Regional Health Center in Sedalia.
The incident happened at 12:40 p.m. near the 19700 block on Balke Road at Truman Lake.
