Another fake bill has been reported being used at a Marshall business.
According to a report from the Marshall Police Department, the report came in from an employee at Quick Run in the 600 block of South Odell Avenue reported on Monday, July 22.
The report says the employee filled out a statement and said the subject purchased $5 worth of gas and another item. The female customer gave the employee a $100 bill and was given $93.54 change and left the store before the bill could be checked. The officer noted several discrepancies in the bill- including it being smaller than a normal bill, the wrong color, the wrong texture and lacked a watermark.
The female suspect was identified through viewing surveillance video. However formal charges have not been filed.
