Glenn E. “Oscar” “Woody” Held, age 78, of Corder, died Friday, July 26, 2019.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 30, at Zion Lutheran Church in Corder, where visitation begins at 10 a.m. Inurnment, with military rites, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, August 2, at the Missouri State Veterans’ Cemetery in Higginsville.

At Glenn’s request no flowers please. Memorials may be made to Zion Lutheran Church, the Lafayette County Cancer Coalition or Harvey Higgins Society, in care of Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Concordia.

In addition to his wife, Mary Frances; survivors include two daughters, Angela Harger (Gary), of Higginsville, and Amy Raney, of Corder; one grandson, Dillyn Raney; two step-granddaughters, Brittany Harris (Zach) and Rachelle Snyder (Tristan); two step-grandsons, Nathan Harger and Seth Harger; one step-great-grandson, Gavin Lawson; one step-great-granddaughter, Natalia Snyder; two sisters, Mary Ann Mock and Judy Heimsoth; numerous nieces and nephews; two honorary daughters, LeAnne McGinness and Betty Jacobsen; and one honorary son, Kenton Raney.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward Held and Ruth Landwehr Held; and a son-in-law, Rickey Lawson.
