Two area residents were seriously injured in a motorcycle accident in Morgan County on Saturday.
According to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident occurred as a northbound Honda Goldwing, driven by 47-year-old Eric Smith, of Lincoln, reportedly struck a dog in the roadway and ejected both occupants.
Smith and a passenger- 54-year-old Donna Plumber, of Sedalia- reportedly were transported by Mid-MO E.M.S. to Bothwell Regional Health Center in Sedalia for treatment.
The accident happened just before 10:15 p.m. on Missouri Highway 135, one-half mile north of Wolf Lane.
