The latest court proceedings for all three men accused of multiple felonies, including kidnapping, on April 26, 2018, are scheduled to be held on Thursday, August 22.
According to a probable-cause statement, members of multiple law-enforcement agencies arrived at the scene of the reported kidnapping at the Super 8 Motel in Higginsville and arrested the three men, who allegedly held two females against their will; raped and assaulted them; and demanded ransom money.
According to online court documents, motion hearings for 19-year-old Jaciel Acdala Mendez-Morales and 23-year-old Alain Gaspar Camarillo-Linan, and a case review for 22-year-old Luis Angel Sierra-Vallina are scheduled to take place at 11 a.m. at Lafayette County Circuit Court.
Mendez-Morales and Sierra-Vallina are being held on $500,000 and Camarillo-Linan on $750,000 cash-only bond at the Lafayette County Jail.
Each defendant pleaded not guilty on April 30, 2018.
