Two persons suffered moderate injuries in a traffic crash in Howard County on Sunday.
According to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred as a northbound vehicle, driven by 20-year-old Caleb Johnson, of Prairie Home, reportedly crossed the center line, traveled off the left side of the roadway and struck a culvert.
Johnson and a passenger in his vehicle, 29-year-old Jeromy Fainter, of Reeds Spring, reportedly were transported by ambulance to University Hospital in Columbia for treatment. Fainter reportedly was not wearing a seat belt.
The crash happened at 7:45 a.m. on Missouri Highway 5, one mile south of Fayette.
