A Sedalia man sustained minor injuries in a motorcycle accident involving wildlife in Pettis County on Monday.
According to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident occurred as a northbound Harley Davidson, driven by 51-year-old Larry McGinnis, reportedly struck a deer in the roadway and overturned.
McGinnis reportedly was transported by a private vehicle to Bothwell Regional Health Center in Sedalia for treatment.
The accident happened just after 8 p.m. on Route E, south of Maltsbarger Road.
