Jessie D. Scott, age 96, of Mt. Hope, KS, and formerly of Sweet Springs, died Friday, October 18, 2019.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, October 22, at Fairview Cemetery in Sweet Springs.

Memorials are suggested to Saline Animal League or Shriners Hospitals for Children in care of Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home.

Jessie is survived by her son, Gary McFarland (Lisa), of Wichita, KS; one granddaughter, Loree McFarland; two great-grandchildren, Tristan and Lauren Dunbarr; one great-great-granddaughter, Lilah Duran; as well as nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, George Green and Maude Harris Green; and husband, Bird W. “Scotty” Scott; she was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Stacie McFarland Derricks; and two brothers, Harold and Lyle Green.
