Two persons were injured in an all-terrain vehicle accident in Lafayette County on Saturday.
According to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident happened as 44-year-old Christopher Bergschneider, of Grain Valley, reportedly lost control of the northbound ATV, and both of its occupants were ejected.
Bergschneider sustained minor injuries and passenger- 44-year-old Michelle Baldwin, of Liberty, suffered moderate injuries. Neither of the ATV’s occupants reportedly was wearing a safety device.
While Bergschneider refused treatment at the scene, Baldwin was transported by Sni-Valley E.M.S. to Centerpoint Medical Center in Independence for treatment.
The accident happened at 9:30 p.m. on Mountain View Road, north of Doty School Road.
