A motorcycle crash in Johnson County on Saturday sent a Cole Camp man to the hospital with injuries.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says 21-year-old Benjamin Schlesselman was westbound on Missouri Route DD when the motorcycle he was riding traveled off the right side of the road and overturned, ejecting the rider.

Schlesselman sustained moderate injuries and was taken by Johnson County EMS to an Independence hospital for treatment. The Patrol says the crash happened at 8:25 a.m., just west of the Highway 13 bypass.
