JACK EDWARD SAUNDERS 10/29/16

Jack Edward Saunders, age 74, of Warsaw and formerly of Overland Park, KS, died Wednesday, October 26, 2016.

Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, October 29, at First United Methodist Church, Cole Camp. Burial will be in Memorial Cemetery, Cole Camp.

The family will receive friends from Noon until service time on Saturday at the church.

The family suggests memorial contributions be given to First United Methodist Church or Memorial Cemetery in care of the Fox Funeral Home, Cole Camp.

He is survived by three sons, Shannon Saunders and Vanessa of Overland Park, Kansas, Edward Dean Saunders and Gwen of Cole Camp, Mark Allan Saunders and Susan of San Antonio, Texas; one brother, Frank Saunders and JoAnn of Weatherby; ten grandchildren, Jessica, Jason, Tyler, Joshua, Austin, Kayla, Brittney, Brandon, Dakota, and Devin; and five great-grandchildren, Braylee, Dalila, Chevy, Carter, and Kyle.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Emmett and Bernice Saunders.

Lester Elmer Zimmerschied, 69, of Mora, died Wednesday, October 26, 2016.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, October 31, at Brauersville Lutheran Church in Cole Camp. Burial will be in Brauersville Lutheran Cemetery with military honors by American Legion Post No. 305 of Cole Camp.

A prayer service will be held at 6 p.m. on Sunday, October 30, at Fox Funeral Home in Cole Camp, where a visitation will begin at 4 p.m.

Memorials are suggested to Brauersville Lutheran Church in care of the funeral home.

He is survived by his wife, Pauline Marie Carnes, of the home;  two daughters, Paula A. Meives and Adam of Cave Junction, Oregon, and  Tammy S. Engles of Tulsa, Oklahoma; four sons, David Mahnesmith, Jr., Will Mahnesmith and Angie of Galesburg, Illinois, Larry Mahnesmith of Versailles, and Clay Mahnesmith of Macomb, Illinois; two sisters, Alice Jolliffe of Marshall and Margaret Zimmerschied of Cole Camp; two brothers, Eldon “Butch” Zimmerschied and Linda and Gary Zimmerschied  and Bonnie, all of Stover; ten grandchildren, Tyler Saunders, Katelynn Hammond, Makalya Meives, Jaret Meives, Tabitha Engles, Michael Engles, Kurtis Mahnesmith, Kacy Mahnesmith, Tiffany Mahnesmith and Bradley Mahnesmith; and three great-grandchildren.
