Two area teens were injured after a one-vehicle rollover accident in Howard County on Friday night.
Trooper reports from the Missouri State Highway Patrol say it happened when a vehicle driven eastbound by 16-year-old Nicholas Lay, of Franklin, began to skid, ran off the left side of the roadway, and overturned.
Lay and 15-year-old passenger Viola Wayland, of Fayette, both received minor injuries and were taken by ambulance to a Columbia hospital for treatment.
Patrol reports say the crash happened just before 10:30 p.m. on County Road 423, about a half-mile west of County Road 425.
