The First Christian Church Annual Chili/Soup Supper will be held from 4 to 7:30 p.m. on Friday, December 4 at the church located on the NE corner of the square. Attendees are asked to enter the parking lot off Marion Street.

They will be serving chili or vegetable soup, hot dog or ham sandwich, brownie and bottled water for $7.

The annual event has been re-designed as a drive-through only event in 2020 so they can continue to raise funds for 13 local organizations: Community Food Pantry, HOOT Resource Center, Marshall Senior Center, Habitat for Humanity, CASA, Mary Montgomery Hospice, HEAT, Parents as Teachers, Saline County Learning Center, Cub Scout Pack 45, Marshall Ministerial Alliance and FCC Benevolent Fund and Youth Ministry.
