Missouri artist Steve Snell will talk about his “Adventure Art on the Mighty Mo’” film series as part of the Marshall Public Library summer reading program.
Snell traveled the length of the Missouri River painting what he saw. Starting at the headwaters in Montana, he created more than a hundred paintings while on expedition down the river. Several of these paintings will be on display at the library throughout the month.
Snell is a is an Associate Professor of Art in the Foundation Department at the Kansas City Art Institute.
