Have you ever wondered what other churches in Concordia and Emma look like on the inside?  A church is a beautiful building for worship to God.  They are always beautiful, but when they are adorned for the nativity season they are even more beautiful.  There will be an opportunity to see some of the churches on December 10 from 1 to 5 p.m.  This is a fundraiser for the Zoar Cemetery Restoration west of Concordia on Mulkey Station Road.  The cemetery is in need of a new fence replacing the barbed wire one with posts with a new vinyl fence.  A partial grant has been received from the Tri-Co Foundation with the stipulation that the cemetery restoration committee raise the remainder of the money.

Local Concordia churches participating in the tour are Bethel United Church of Christ, Concordia Baptist Church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Concordia United Methodist Church, and St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.  Emma churches include Holy Cross Lutheran Church and St. John’s United Church of Christ.
