The Marshall Philharmonic Orchestra and Conductor Kevin Lines invite all to the 3^rd concert of its 62^nd season.

The featured soloist will be highly respected area trumpet performer, Chris Farris.  Originally from Moberly, MO, Mr. Farris is in his 17^th year of teaching band for Columbia Public Schools. MPO supporters have likely enjoyed his performances as a free-lance musician throughout Mid-Missouri, most notably as a regular performer with the Missouri Symphony Orchestra and as a frequent Lyceum Theatre musician. On Sunday, Farris will perform Haydn’s famed “Trumpet Concerto in E-flat Major” and a powerful and stirring composition, “The Prayer of Saint Gregory” by Alan Hovhaness.

A meet and greet reception will immediately follow the concert.
