The MU Extension Center in Johnson County is conducting a pumpkin decorating contest.  Entries into the contest can be real or “fake” pumpkins. Prizes will be awarded for age groups 5-8, 9-13, 14-18 and 19+.

Participants should bring their entries to the Johnson County Extension Center by October 18th.  Pumpkins will be posted on their Facebook page on October 19th for voting, which will be counted on October 21, and winners will be announced on October 22.

Pumpkins will be on display at the Extension Center through Halloween.  Prizes for winners and participation prizes for kids will be handed out on October 31 through November 8th.
