Explore homes associated with some of Sedalia’s legends including the homes of Thomas/Mildred Yount, Jack Oakie (film star), Henry Salveter, and the party place built by William R. Parkhurst in 1964. Find out how the Elks Lodge and the Helen G. Steele Music Club worked together a hundred years ago! Explore the second floor above The Whistle House that many visited on the HH 2025 tour. Stairs are required to visit the second floor of most sites. However, the first floors are worth a visit!
Admission in advance is $20 and available at Sedalia Katy Depot (600 East Third) or Moore’s Floral Shop (3311 Green Ridge Rd/Hwy B). Ticket sales end at noon on April 17.
Tickets purchased the day of the tour will be available for $25 after 1 p.m. at The Tiki (19003 MO-Y).
All proceeds will help with the restoration of the 1906 Heard House and property.
