Sweet Springs Shearing Shenanigans will be Saturday, May 1 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 105 Main Street in Sweet Springs.

This event brings Art, Agriculture, Education, which spins that into a yarn of high quality entertainment. All manner of fiber arts, public shearing of sheep, alpaca, and Llama. Petting zoo, pony rides, herding dog demonstrations, musical entertainment, chair massages, horse drawn wagon rides through historic Sweet Springs, multiple vendors, classes, and demos in spinning, weaving, and raising angora fiber for pets and profit. There is something for everyone.
