Several reports regarding the progress of certain projects was given during the MMU Board Of Public Works meeting on Thursday, June 14.
Electric Distribution Director Jeff Bergstrom said tree-trimming crews are almost finished in the area of Watermill Road, and he is very pleased with their work.

In other business, Underground Facilities Director Grant Piper details the need to replace of certain valves which were installed in the early 70’s.

The motion was approved by the board.
In other business, Human Resource Director Megan Baldridge recognized personnel from the water treatment plant who have worked eight years without a recorded injury, as well as personnel from the electric distribution department for one year without an incident. Bladridge added an award luncheon hopefully will be scheduled soon to celebrate the safety achievements of the departments.
