Later this month, Marshall residents have been invited to attend a meeting with their city government.
During the meeting of the Marshall City Council on Tuesday, January 2, Mayor Mark Gooden said the event will be held at the Martin Community Center.

In other news, Gooden made a recommendation to appoint Tim Butner to the Board of Building Code Enforcement and Wick Jacobi to the Marshall Municipal Utilities Board of Public Works. Council members will think about those recommendations and likely vote on them during the next meeting, which will be held at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, January 16.
