A special event will be held later this month to meet the Marshall Police Department’s new canine officer.
During the meeting of the Marshall City Council on Tuesday, January 2, Ward 1 Councilman Dewey Hendrix gave the details.

Hendrix also gave the year-end report from the police department, and Ward 2 Councilman Chuck Hines gave the report from the fire department.
Hines also elaborated on an advisory given out involving the usage of space heaters.
