More bricks honoring area veterans will be placed in the sidewalk on the west side of the Saline County Courthouse at the “Veterans’ Walk of Honor” in Marshall in the coming months.
Former Saline County Northern District Commissioner Charlie Guthrie says now is the time to submit your application to make sure the brick will be placed prior to the Memorial Day Ceremony.
Guthrie says the veteran does not have to be from Saline County.
Bricks honoring veterans cost $50 each, and applications are available at the Saline County Assessor’s, Collector’s and Treasurer’s offices, at Dale Zank’s State Farm Insurance office or from Ed Reis  at Wood & Huston Bank in Marshall.
