An area law-enforcement agency is asking for the public’s help in a case.
According to a post on the Sedalia Police Department’s Facebook page, on Sunday, January 14, officers and ambulance personnel were dispatched to apartment D at 414 East 7th Street in reference to an assault with a weapon.
Upon arrival, medical aid reportedly was rendered to 33-year-old Heather M. McClellan, of Sedalia. McClellan was transported to Bothwell Regional Health Center where she later died from her injuries. McClellan was pronounced deceased by Pettis County Coroner Robert “Skip” Smith.
