A Chariton County resident has been charged with multiple counts of a drug-related felony as result of the alleged findings during a search of her vehicle and her person after a traffic stop in Carroll County on April 17.
According to a probable-cause statement, the Missouri State Highway Patrol trooper found several baggies containing methamphetamine, bottles containing pills with the prescription labels removed and some marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
According to online court documents, a warrant has been issued and 57-year-old Dale Avance, of Salisbury, has been charged with four counts of a Class D Felony for Possession of a Controlled Substance, Except 35 Grams or Less of Marijuana, three drug-related misdemeanors and a misdemeanor for speeding. Bond has been set at $15,000 cash or licensed surety, no 10-percent allowed, with unspecified conditions.
Avance’s initial hearing at Carroll County Circuit Court is pending.
