A Florence juvenile was injured in a rollover traffic accident in Pettis County on Monday.
According to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident occurred as a southbound vehicle reportedly crossed the center of the roadway and caused the driver, 17-year-old Alex Stilfield, of Florence, to overcorrect. The vehicle then traveled off the right side of the roadway, overturned and came to a rest on its top.
An 11-year-old passenger reportedly was transported by Pettis County E.M.S. to University Hospital in Columbia for treatment of moderate injures. Stilfield reportedly was not injured.
The accident happened at about 10:45 a.m. on Route KK, just south of Lutman Road.
