A St. Louis man is facing a felony weapons charge for an alleged road-rage incident in Saline County on July 1.
According to a probable-cause statement, the reporting party said they had a gun pointed at them by another driver while they were traveling westbound on I-70, near Marshall Junction. The suspect vehicle reportedly continued west into Lafayette County, and at one point reportedly was traveling at about 100 miles per hour. The suspect eventually was apprehended by a Missouri State Highway Patrol trooper in Higginsville. The trooper reportedly located a black, Glock 19 semiautomatic handgun in the vehicle. The suspect was arrested and transported to the Lafayette County Jail.
Online court documents say a warrant has been issued, and Reginald Tyrone Green Jr. has been charged with a Class E Felony for Unlawful Use of a Weapon. Bond has been set at $7,500 cash only, with one condition being he is not to possess a firearm.
Green’s initial hearing at Saline County Circuit Court is pending.
