Saline County Clerk Debbie Russell said there is a lot of interest from area residents about the upcoming election.
During the meeting of the county commission on Tuesday, October 16, Russell gave an update on requests that have been made for absentee ballots.

Southern District Commissioner Monte Fenner pointed out there are a lot of meetings being held around the state trying to explain the ballot language with several of the amendments.
Due to that, Russell says it might be wise for voters to read the ballot language in advance.

Absentee voting will continue during regular business hours at your county clerk’s office through 5 p.m. on Monday, November 5. Voters go to the polls to cast their ballots on Tuesday, November 6.
