A New Franklin resident suffered moderate injuries in a two-vehicle traffic crash in Howard County on Thursday.
A report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol says the crash occurred as an eastbound vehicle, driven by 83-year-old Daniel Crowley, of Franklin, was stopped in the roadway to turn left and was struck in the rear by another eastbound vehicle, driven by 24-year-old Racheal Parish.
While Crowley reportedly was not injured, Parish, who reportedly was not wearing a seat belt, was transported by Howard County ambulance to University Hospital in Columbia for treatment.
The crash happened at 5:40 p.m. at the intersection of Highways 5 and 40.
