Kathryne Ann McAlear, age 95, formerly of Marshall, died on Monday, October 29, 2018.

Memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Monday, November 5, at Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Marshall, where visitation begins at 1 p.m. Burial will follow at Ridge Park Cemetery.

Donations in lieu of flowers can be made to First Christian Church, or the First Christian Church “McAlear Family Scholarship Fund” for students attending Culver-Stockton College, or to the charity of your choice.

Kay is survived by her five children; Ken McAlear and wife Ginny of Lake Lure, NC; Jim McAlear and wife Carol of Wedowee, AL; Tom McAlear and wife Ann of Bloomfield Hills, MI; Debbie McAlear of Elizabethton, TN; and Rodney McAlear and wife Dana of Tempe, AZ; 15 grandchildren, 16 (soon-to-be-17) great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Archie Linwood Brown and Corinne Spencer Brow;n and husband, Albert I. McAlear, Jr; Kay was preceded in death by a sister, Mabel Cromwell; and three brothers; Milton Brown, Harley Brown and Richard Brown.
