A Kansas City woman charged with felonies for the alleged possession of approximately 4.5 pounds of methamphetamine after a traffic stop on October 25 in Saline County had her arraignment hearing rescheduled due to the need of a Spanish interpreter.
According to a probable-cause statement, during the stop at the 63 mile marker on I-70, authorities reportedly located the methamphetamine concealed within a diaper bag inside the vehicle, as well as the driver also having a small amount of methamphetamine on her person. Arrested was 35-year-old Haydee Griselda Erazo Moreno.
According to online court documents, Erazo Moreno has been charged with a Class A Felony for Trafficking Drugs or Attempt in the First Degree Over the Statutory Amount; a Class D Felony for Possession of a Controlled Substance, Except 35 Grams or Less of Marijuana or Synthetic Cannabinoid; and a driving-related misdemeanor. Bond has been set at $100,000 cash only.
Erazo-Moreno’s arraignment hearing, which was scheduled to be held on Wednesday, October 31, is scheduled to be held at 9 a.m. on Thursday, November 1, at Saline County Circuit Court.
