Goldie Ellen Brooks Yates, age 86, formerly of Chillicothe, died Tuesday, October 30, 2018.

Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, November 3, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall, where visitation begins at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Ridge Park Cemetery in Marshall.

Memorials may be made to family choice.

She is survived by her three children, Vickey Klein and husband, Joe, of Chula, Sandy Tripp, and Douglas Yates and fiancée, Iris Yee, all of Chillicothe; one sister, Wynona Morrow, of Marshall; as well as 11 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 63 years, Oliver Yates; her parents, Ira and Bessie Bird Brooks; four brothers, Willard, Willis, Wilbur and Lester Brooks; and two sisters, Betty Morrow and Dorothy Morrow.
