The Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission has approved a $4 million contract for improvements on Highway 87 in Howard County.
According to a news release, Magruder Paving, of Troy, Mo, was awarded a contract to resurface Highway 87, between Boonville and Glasgow.
The contractor submitted the low bid for the 22-mile project which includes resurfacing the entire length of Highway 87 in Howard County.
The project is scheduled to begin next summer. When a start date is established, MoDOT will alert the public about the project through signs, news releases and social media.
