A Marshall teen has been identified as one of four possible suspects involved in recent case of allegedly stealing from unsecured vehicles in Saline County.
According to a probable-cause statement, Saline County Sheriff’s deputies investigated a string of alleged burglaries which occurred at four residences just outside the city limits of Marshall on November 22.
Four unsecured vehicles on separate, nearby properties reportedly were entered and multiple items were stolen. Items included cash, credit cards, identification cards, a hunting rifle, a $2,000 range finder and a cell phone. Reportedly, video surveillance from one of the properties helped identify one suspect, 18-year-old Seth Thomas. No other suspects have been identified at this time.
Online court documents say Thomas has been charged with two Class D Felonies for Stealing of $750 or More and Stealing of a Firearm, as well as two misdemeanors for stealing. Bond was set at $7,500 cash only with conditions.
Thomas’ initial hearing is pending at Saline County Circuit Court.
