The Marshall City Council approved an amendment to a traffic ordinance regarding parking during its meeting on Monday, December 3.
The council held off on a second reading of an amendment to traffic ordinance during a prior meeting to give residents a chance to provide input on the matter. City Clerk Julie Lewis gives the second reading of the amendment, and council members in attendance voted on the matter.

Again, the amendment was approved to prohibit parking on the north and south sides of College Street, from U.S. 65 to Odell Avenue.
In other business, Councilman Dan Brandt said curbside yard waste pick up is still going on, but not for long.
