Three area residents were injured in a traffic crash involving multiple vehicles at an intersection in Pettis County on Wednesday.
According to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred as an eastbound vehicle, driven by 47-year-old Ronald Reuter, of Pilot Grove, reportedly crossed 65 Highway and into the path of a northbound vehicle, driven by 74-year-old William Cole, of Marshall. The collision reportedly cause Cole’s vehicle to strike a third vehicle which caused minor damage to that vehicle.
Cole and passenger, 59-year-old Betty Cole, reportedly were transported by Pettis County ambulance to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg for treatment of moderate injures. Reuter reportedly refused treatment of minor injures at the scene.
The crash happened just before 4 p.m. at the intersection of U.S. 65 Highway and Route HH.
