Authorities say they found a large cache of marijuana and controlled pills after a traffic stop on I-70 in Saline County on December 12, and a Branford, Florida, resident has been charged with multiple felonies.
A probable-cause statement says authorities uncovered four duffel bags which contained vacuum-sealed packages of marijuana that weighed approximately 63 pounds and pills listed as Schedule 2 Controlled Substances. Three children, ages seven through 12, also reportedly were in the vehicle.
Online court documents say 49-year-old Tine Marie Noe has been charged with a Class C Felony for Delivery and a Class D Felony for Possession of a Controlled Substance, Except 35 Grams or Less of Marijuana or Synthetic Cannabinoid; and three counts of a Class D Felony for Endangering the Welfare of a Child in the First Degree- First Offense. Bond has been set at $50,000 cash or surety.
Noe was arraigned on Thursday, December 13, and her cause has been continued for a counsel-status hearing at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, December 19, at Saline County Circuit Court.
