Three Warrensburg residents suffered injuries in a two-vehicle traffic crash in Johnson County on Friday.
A report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol says the crash occurred as a southbound vehicle, driven by 32-year-old Sean Grindstaff, was slowing to make a right turn into a private driveway and reportedly was struck in the rear by another southbound vehicle, driven by 31-year-old Cameron Venters, of La Monte.
While neither driver was injured, passengers in Grindstaff’s vehicle- 29-year-old Eliza Grindstaff, who reportedly was not wearing a seat belt, suffered moderate injuries and a 6-year-old boy and 4-year-old girl sustained minor injuries.
The injured persons reportedly were transported by E.M.S. to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg for treatment.
The crash happened at 4:50 p.m. on Missouri Highway 13, south of Northwest 875 Road.
